Many friends and relatives lived there, both sets of grandparents. The Labor Harvest Picnic was a Monday-Tuesday event. A lot of activities took place in our little town during those years and during my parents youth there also. Many homes, relatives, and friend are gone now due to Truman Lake but it will always be fond memories for me.
